FCSO Identifies Victims In Fatal West Side Crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio -

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the victims involved in a fatal crash on the city's west side early Tuesday morning.

According to the sheriff's office, a Ford Explorer SUV was traveling eastbound on Fisher Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The SUV traveled off the right side of the road and rolled before striking a house.

Passenger, Jessica Hubble, 22, was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, Oscar Lee Staton, Jr., 21, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The occupants were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the sheriff's office.

Hubble was the registered owner of the vehicle. Staton disputes being the driver at the time of the crash, according to investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.
